Galileo Galilei born 1564, he made the telescope and helped with Nicolaus's theory. Galileo Galilei made a book called Starry messenger. The Catholic church took him to Rome for trial. the Catholic Church accused Galileo Galilei of Heresy which is the belief that is counter to the official religion. After the trial Galileo Galilei was under house arrest because he confessed. Galileo Galilei died in 1642
