Protesters in Minneapolis have been threatened with Military action. This protest was large but became larger as an ICE Agent shot and injured a man. As many as 3000 ICE Agents are over at the protest controlling the crowd.

The NFL Football playoffs are happening this week in the divisional round. The matchups this week are Bears vs. Rams, Texans vs. Patriots, Bills vs. Broncos, and 49ers, vs Seahawks. Currently the Bears aren't the favorites against the Rams, but the Bears have had more comebacks than any other team this season. The Texans aren't supposed to beat the patriots, but if their defense performs like they did last game they have a very good chance. The Bills aren't looking too hot going into the game against the Broncos, but they still have a chance. The 49ers barely have an offense at this point, but can they beat the highly favored to win the superbowl team The seahawks?

Over the past weekend, many football games were a surprise to fans. The Chicago Bears made a huge comeback against their rival team, the Green Bay Packers. In the first two quarters, the Packers had hope, but their offense 'fell apart' in the second half of the game. Their kicker also missed a field goal near the end of the game, which caused the Bears to hold their lead position. The Bears never gave up and stayed strong the whole game, proving they deserved that next round playoff game.

After rolling through their first games in the College Football Playoffs, Indiana is set to play Miami in the National Championship. Indiana has beaten both Alabama and Oregon by double digits, while Miami has somehow managed to get to the Championship from the 10th seed. Indiana has had their best season in memory with a Heisman quarterback, Fernando Mendoza, and the number one seed in the playoffs. Miami has been doubted throughout the entire season, but they have stayed resilient. No matter who wins on Monday, it is sure to be a great game.

Mike Tomlin, who has been the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers for 19 consecutive years, has stepped down from that position. He had not one losing season in his 19 years as head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers. The problem with him is that he has not won a playoff game in years, and because of that, he believes he is not fit for that job anymore. Also, he is the 4th coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers in over 50 years. Which shows how it is destined to have a coach who can have longevity with this team.

Most Americans think Trump's first year back in office is a failure. A CNN poll found almost 60% of Americans saying that Trump is focused on the wrong politics, and doing too little about the immense cost of living here in the United States. There's been hardly any good news in the polls for either Trump or the Republican Party, with the damaged economy looming as a definitive issue in politics and the White House. In fact, 55% of Americans say that Donald Trump is actively hurting the economy with his neglect of it and constant addition of tariffs.

Recent heavy rains in California have caused death cap mushrooms to flourish in the wild, including one of the fungi, the Western destroying angel mushroom, according to CDPH. It's been warned that this could be the largest toxic mushroom outbreak in California history, which state health officials say has caused three deaths and sickened more then 30 people who have ingested the poisonous fungi.

Greenland is a region of Denmark, and the foreign minister said that Trump trying to take land has caused a "fundamental disagreement". This has caused widespread fear for the people living in Greenland, that their home may become a battlefield if the U.S. president decides to try and invade.

Venezuela's Machado had taken her own Nobel prize to the white house because she thought she would've gotten something back. The only thing she got in return was a bag. She wanted more support then just a bag. We couldn't say Donald Trump didn't care but at the moment he did not give anything back to her. Entrepreneur Cheng Hao, and other engineers are working on humanoid robots to play sports. They are currently working on having the robots play soccer. Cheng is a 37 year old who started this project in 2023. For many other humanoid robot companies, sports are a testing ground and a way to show real world capabilities. This led to a boom in robotic sporting events, with competetions like the half marathon. Beijing hosted the worlds first humanoid robot games, with competitions including boxing, soccer, martial arts, and others.

Altadena resident Ken Johnson came to talk on ABC news on Thursday to discuss the 550 pund brown bear, who set up residency under his house just before Thanksgiving. Johnson said he tried "everything in the book" to get the bear out from beneath his home, including blowing ammonia through a leaf-blower, putting loud music on for a day, playing a recording of barking dogs in the vents and leaving out a shirt sprayed with cologne. The BEAR League contacted Johnson to offer its services, and "two of our people" were ultimately flown in to work on the eviction. Within about 10 minutes of getting to his house and looking around to get the lay of the land, they had the bear out. Bryant said one person was able to crawl underneath the home, "went up behind the bear and scared him and used a paintball gun, [which just has] vegetable oil in it, doesn't got toxin." Bryant said the team was able to chase the bear off once he came out from under the house.

President Donald Trump first year back in the White House but the reaction is negative. A lot of Americans say that Trump is focusing on wrong priorities and making wrong choices. Trump raising up the price of everything has been a struggle for people. 58% of the people call the first year of Trump's term a failure. There hasn't been any "good" news since Trump has been elected as the president. Even though the majority of the people don't support him, there's still some and Republican saying he's not perfect but he's actually getting results. The public argue, even if he is doing good in some areas he showed lack of caring about the citizens.

The Indiana Hoosiers will face off against the Miami Hurricanes Monday Jan 19, 7:30P.M. The University of Miami Clinched a spot after beating Ole Miss 31-27. The Hoosiers beat the Oregon Ducks 56-22 to seal their spot in the Championship. Many people think the Hoosiers will win stating that they are the best team since the 2019 LSU tigers.

After the shooting last week in Minneapolis, nationwide protests and families of those who have been killed, including Keith Porter's family (who was killed by an off-duty ICE officer on New Year's Eve), have been speaking out against the power and justification of these officers and the organization, calling for investigations and trials.

Her last words were "I'm not mad at you." Officials claim Renee and two other individuals tried to attack an ICE officer, and the altercation resulted in her being fired at numerous times.
