I plan to become a Statistician in the future and as far as I know (I may be wrong though), Environmental Science is not that relevant or closely related to my future career.

I typically don't set too much expectations, but if I were to set one, I hope the professor would be somehow lenient when it comes to time when taking examinations.

To do this mathematical and statistical models along with computing techniques play essential roles.

I'm not really sure right now how relevant environmental science is to my future career but I guess if I encounter researches that involves both environmental science and data science, then it is important that I have a background about both topics.

I took environmental science way back when I was in Grade 11 so I think I already forgot a lot of things but I'm looking forward to this course since it lets us understand our nature and our world more. I hope I enjoy this class 😄.

HI! I am San Nicolle Polintan from BS Mathematics 3-1. Based from the course itself, environmental science talks about ecosystem and how we preserve the treasure of nature which can be applied to our future endeavors. I will be pursuing to be a data analyst and I think that this course will help me to be eco-friendly and what contributing factors can affect nature by my work.

I expect that this course will teach us to know more about prevailing environmental issues that we are and will be facing. Various mitigation strategies hopefully can be taught by this subject.

My choice of path is more on finance and not environment related. But I am interested in the topics and am curious on what I can learn more from my past knowledge.

I don't have much expectations but I hope that this will be fun and critical.
