The Dakota Access pipeline protest, this was a protest back on April 1, 2016 about human health. The Dakota Access pipeline was proposed to carry 450,000 barrels per day of Bakken crude oil from North Dakota to Patoka, Illinois. This was a threat to the environment and the health of humans.

The Survival Schools are about people losing their children and schools closing down. Bellecourt members were losing their children and Juvenile courts were sweeping children and fostering them out. Some families were being broken up and they were losing children.

First, the people in the reservations had protested for ten years so the dam wouldn't be built. Second, after ten years of protesting they finally said they weren't going to build the bridge. Also every week they would have a party because the bridge wasnt built so they where saved.
