With all of the plastic that is being dragged down into the garbage patch, more and more creatures are dieing from plastic. Creatures are swallowing things like toys, hair combs and other small pieces of plastic.(national geographic). The Pacific Garbage Patch is bigger than two Texas's , WOW!!! ( ECOlife). 7 billion pounds of non recycleable plastic is made each year. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is one of the largest public dump. There is almost 500 tones of trash is thrown into the dump. ( garbage patch.net.)
