This is evident in our daycare, we all work together for a common cause. For example we work as a team to get the children all cleaned up after snack and ready for their next activity. Another way is when we are cleaning up, another staff member may help the facilitators helper by disinfecting the table and chairs, this depends on if we are full staffed or not.

This is evident in our daycare because when 1 of our ECE staff were holding an activity for the children called “bean bag toss”, the teacher demonstrated how to do it. In the beginning of this activity some of the children had a hard time trying to get the bean bag into the right area, so with observation, effort and a bit of practice, the children got better at tossing the bean bag onto the target.

this is evident in our daycare. We all work together for a common cause. We all communicate with each other and work as a team. We all ask whom will do that week, like who will do diapers, crafts, help clean the area and so on. We all build a relationship in the daycare, if someone is sick we get someone from the afternoon students and if the afternoon students get sick then someone from the morning students will work in the morning. Both morning and afternoon students we all help each other big or small

We foster a good spirit by being open, kind and welcoming to every child, family and visitor who enter our day care. We have a lot of children run up to us for hugs, it is evident they are feeling welcomed. When it is pick up time, one or a few of us staff talk to them about what their child had done that day – showing respect and kindness.

Being open to every child matters to them, being kind to every child, they deserve to know we are there for them, welcoming them in the morning and even afternoon lets them know we are there for them… even to parents when events are happening at the daycare, lets them know we are there for their child, we are there to welcome every child in the daycare, every child should be welcome during morning and afternoons, we should all also be open with every child, the more we welcome every child the more we know we are cognitively there for them…

It is evident in our daycare, we greet all children when they walk in, also to each other and others who helps us out. We greet with hi and or good morning. We say hi to those who walk in if they’re different persons who don’t regularly come.

Being open by having listening ears to children who speak to you about themselves, good spirits with each and every person you interact with.

Care for other people and build strong, positive relationships.
Include all members of the community as valued participants, acknowledging their unique skills and contributions.
Use practices such as sharing a meal to bring people together and foster sense of belonging.

We foster in good spirit at daycare, we are open to everyone thoughts at daycare. We welcome everyone, even when parents drop off their children. It’s it important to have good spirit because children can sense our emotions. It is important to open to everyone because we are learning to communicate with each other. Or to work with one another.
