Mr. Rodriguez- Yesterday, Ada said her favorite part of the day was "Going to Gym!"
Ms. Lilly- If I eat dark chocolate, Ada now says, "Mommy, that is not a color of the rainbow!"  Now she opens the fridge and asks herself, "What color of the rainbow do I want to eat?"

I can see the gears turning in his head when he is able to make the connection on certain subjects. He talks so much about his day and what he learned. 
Thank you for your encouraging words to the families. I am so inspired by the daily commitment that you as teachers give to our kindergarten children- and us the parents making us feel like we can get through anything together. I love how you are all able to bring the magic and wonder into their lives and make them feel so safe where at times the world didn't feel that way.

Our children arrived to Samara not speaking a word in English, and its so rewarding to see how much they have learned this academic school year regardless of the stressors of this pandemic. I can’t thank you all enough for your dedication, love, desire to teach which has assisted the boys to become “Super Matemáticos”!!! Both boys love Math. Thank you for always answering messages and calling us with updates and for wanting to see the boys succeed. I wish there were more teachers like the teachers in Samara!!!

Thank you for being the special people that assisted us to get Justin and Kayden accepted and situated in the Samara Community School. Since our 1st day at school, Ms. Derrig without knowing us you immediately knew who we were and accepted us with open arms. Ms. V, thank you for always being available and wanting the best for the boys. Ms. Vargas, thank you for being who you are, the best Parent Coordinator in the NYC Dept. of Education!!!!
