Say which target is hitting. It is becoming more automatic. It has been good. Big improvement since the beginning of the year.

The question is how the learners are doing in meeting their goals. Feeling frustrated on the learner end. 

It is challenging on at the lower end of grades and in special education when working on foundational skills.

Older kids are aware but need a bit more guidance to get what they need to graduate. Students can get confused or not remember what our learning goals are. 

Learning goals can seem to be at the back of our learners minds when considering what classes to take (older) or when discussing why we are doing an activity (younger) 

Teachers feel like they are over facilitating at some points 

Could we have a seminar on learner inquiry? Teaching them how to chart their path and navigate school

It should be a school wide effort, that includes a lot of parent involvement so they can see how the process works and gain a better understanding. 

Helping parents to understand that learning can/does look different from when they were in school. We are still teaching the same concepts but we are often times teaching them in a more easily accessible or straight forward way compared to how they learned these concepts.
