Did you know that Mike is running around because of his conflict with Kate. His wife, Kate has been so upset because Mike is spending time at work than playing with his kids?😬😐😧

One day Mike was doing his job and jogging on a path and who thought a pile of stones and a grape vine on the side of the path would stopped him. He thought about his conflict with his wife Kate. Kate can not stand how much time Mike spends on his job when he can be a cool dad and spending time with his children and he is always so late. This is not a problem, this is a huge problem.

Mike loves his job but he has been sad that he has been upsetting his wife. He takes pride in his job. Mike is jogging really hard but still thinking about his conflict. Mike dosn’t want to miss the best times that his children have.

Mike thinks of when his children and him go fishing. You got a “A“ in fishing. He rembers the tennis times he also has with his children. He can hang on to a tennis racket and as hard as he can but he can not solve his conflict. He also thinks about his dad games and when his children were on his side when he was ill.

Mike gets hit with a big flash. He starts jogging
again. Yes, he has missed some of his children’s best times. But Mike had not been at his job to think about conflict. So he had a big smile on his face and a grin. Their was no conflict!

I think more people have dogs then cats Because Dogs are more cuddly, they are easy to train, they play in a cute way with their dog toys, ect. I remember in second grade my teacher showed us a video which was called dogs vs Cats and the cat did not do to good but the dog was doing handstands, catching a ball, finding the little kids phone. Therefore, Dogs are more athletic then cats. Since dogs are more athletic I believe that most dogs can jump, run, pull, etc more better then cats. For example my little dog can jump up to my chest and I'm only 4"10. Sometimes she is afraid To jump but she's can do it.

(Is the thing referred to countable or not?) Be careful choosing a verb to accompany such pronouns.

Some of the beads are missing.

Some of the water is gone.

On the other hand, there is one indefinite pronoun, none, that can be either singular or plural; it often doesn't matter whether you use a singular or a plural verb — unless something else in the sentence determines its number. (Writers generally think of none as meaning not any and will choose a plural verb, as in "None of the engines are working," but when something else makes us regard none as meaning not one, we want a singular verb, as in "None of the food is fresh.")

None of you claims responsibility for this incident?

None of you claim responsibility for this incident?

None of the students have done their homework. They are always singular, though. Each is often followed by a prepositional phrase ending in a plural word (Each of the cars), thus confusing the verb choice. Each, too, is always singular and requires a singular verb.

Everyone has finished his or her homework.

You would always say, "Everybody is here." "Are either of you taking this seriously?" Burchfield calls this "a clash between notional and actual agreement."*

The conjunction or does not conjoin (as and does): when nor or or is used the subject closer to the verb determines the number of the verb.
