Also known as “holiday butlins”, these destinations were aimed at all demographics, but were extremely popular with families through the numerous activities it proposed for people of all ages. </p></li><li><p>Though Butlin’s had existed since 1936, its popularity skyrocketed in line with the post-war British labour party’s increase both in pay and in days off. </p></li><li><p>The source represents the important developments and opportunities created for larger proportions of the British population, and aims to promote the happiness that they generate by representing smiling faces.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

A radio called RFE would broadcast into soviet controlled nations (probably illegal) trying to counter soviet propaganda.</p></li><li><p>This primary source probably shows the US view of Soviet propaganda and how they want to spread their influence to more countries to stop communism and they wanted to spread their beliefs to people in Russia to possibly cause people to go against the government.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>This source shows the US scare of Soviet propaganda and how they use their own propaganda to try to stop the Russian propaganda.</p></li></ul>]]></description>

It shows her relaxed state and doing and activity that is fun and is ultimately a way to fill time that can be enjoyable. </p></li><li><p>This shows how more people were seeking things that could bring them enjoyment after going through the trauma of a war and how people wanted to spend more time with family and friends.</p></li><li><p>Family values were growing during this time period which helped strengthen different communities but it also created an interest in new activities and new businesses that could market off of peoples interest in fun, relaxing activities.  </p></li></ul>]]></description>
