Home is supposed to be somewhere where you feel loved. Some people don't get along with their family or don't even have a family. In the song he talks about never wanting to go home because no where feels like home to him. He will go anywhere else though so he can stay happy. A lot of teenagers now a days never want to spend time at home because they don't always get along with one another in their house. In the song he feels like he does not belong anywhere and no where is home to him. 

Overall the song has deep meanings about people and their true emotions. In "The Allegory of the Cave" they have no idea what the real world is like until he gets un chained and released from the cave. He goes to see the real world and see life and then tells his friends in the cave about the other world he saw. He wants the others to come experience the world but no one believes him or trust him. This relates to the song because once you have found that happiness you are scared to keep moving forward and you do not want to lose the best.
