         <description><![CDATA[<div>SAN ANDRÉS 32 Km. From San Salvador, and only 3 Km. Away from Joya de Cerén, is this ceremonial archaeological site.<br><br>San Andrés constituted a regional, ceremonial and administrative council center between the years 600 to 900 AD. There is a work of indigo dating from the colonial era that was buried by the eruption of the Playón Volcano in the year 1658 AD.<br><br>San Andrés has been a place of important findings, among them, a religious scepter elaborated in flint.<br><br>The complex has an area of approximately 35 hectares and is one of the largest pre-Hispanic centers in El Salvador.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tazumal is a unique site that highlights the traces of the indigenous civilization that dominated our country before the colonial era, its meaning "place where souls are consumed" in the Nahua-Quiché language. His first reference dates from the year 1892, formally registered in 1940 by Stanley Boggs, who had the opportunity to identify 13 structures.<br><br>Within its 24-meter-high structure, tombs were found with more than 116 vessels, jade jewelry, iron pyrite mirrors, ball game devices and lizard-shaped pottery.<br><br>In Tazumal is also the "Stone of Victories", which is a monolith of Olmec influence, which presents four different petroglyphs on its four sides and belongs to the year 700 a.C.<br><br>This area is within the western archaeological area with an approximate area of ​​10 square kilometers; and where other places of equal historical wealth are also located, such as Casa Blanca, El Trapiche and surrounding areas.</div>]]></description>
