CO-OPERATION IN THE MIME WORKSHOP

HOW WAS THE TEAMWORK?

The teamwork was a bit bad in the mime workshop, as at some points we didn't know what to do. There were these periods where we would sit and do nothing, but we got there at the end. Our presentation actually was a 'masterpiece'!

HOW WAS THE PRESENTATION OVERALL?

I liked the teamwork we did, as even though we had those blank parts of doing nothing, we still made it look good.

The Republic Day mime presentation was very enjoyable. I was in a group with Keosha, Krishaangi, Avyan, Yuvraj and Anvi. Our group actually had one idea which was well practiced and presented to both the class 5 sections. Our first story took place during World War 2 in the 1940s where a mail - woman, Keosha, had discovered a letter of bombing plans and actions by the Nazis. In the end after a series of battles and planning by both the post woman and her alliances and the Nazis. The letter was torn to pieces during the war and the Nazis could never execute the plan of their bombs. Our group successfully managed to fit all of that within two minutes of the show and present it in mime. It was quite a show for our fellow fifth graders and teachers, but soon we got an issue. During the republic day Assembly all the juniors would be there too. Grade 4 and maybe Grade 3 would understand all of this World War 2 concept but Grades 1 and 2 wouldn't. So in the measure of the last few days we changed the whole storyline.

Our new storyline was about another Postman who was delivering letters on a simple day. But his day wouldn't remain simple when he crossed a few alleys to deliver to a house - and it had caught on fire! Two girls were crying for help on the top floor where the fire was flaring up to, so the postman found a ladder and climbed up, and rushed through the flames to save the two girls. He was rewarded for his bravery and the fire was soon washed away by two firefighters. It was fun to coordinate and do the work, and we all are friends, so there wasn't anything too bad. Maybe sometimes some slow coordination but they were taking their time, which is completely fine. Our mime turned out a laughing stock (in a good way!) everyone understood and found it hilarious!

We enjoyed seeing the enjoyment we had created for them!

The Republic Day Assembly in 2022 was one of my Favourite Assemblies in School. I loved how all the other Groups cooperated with their team members and did everything perfectly. Even in my group we were short of 1 person but we could do it very well on the Presentation Day.

I really liked our teamwork and cooperation together as a group. I am grateful for this time and opportunity our teachers have given us.

I felt very proud that I had a masterpiece I cooperated well my group was amazing. We had a brilliant director splendid actors. We also worked with adversity when our project was changed. We practiced a lot a we were very comfortable in this group.

Working in my Mime Group:

Good things: We got to hear each other's ideas and combined them to make a successful mime. I also loved to be in a group and we had a chance to talk to each other.
Problems I Faced: We had about 2 - 3 fights but we would always come to a good end and our coordination improved and we made a wonderful skit.
How we worked: When we started, we were a bit confused and fought a lot. Gradually, we shared ideas and combined all of our ideas to create our skit. We also compromised for choosing characters and many more.
How it felt: It felt sad and hard at first, to try and share my ideas with others when they didn't listen. But then, I realized I should also cooperate and adjust in the group. My group also started to work as a team so I was very happy to see the outcome and it was wonderful.

I totally learnt something new and fantastic.
It was really fun doing that. We cooperated with each other I loved all the ideas we came up with. Even though everyone didn't like their roles we cooperated because we wanted to make the skit successful.

The experience was really fun. The work shop taught me a lot of thing. My favorite part of the session was when I was put in breakout rooms I loved to brainstorm about what we could do. My teammates where really cooperated.

Working in my Mime Group:

Good things: I got to hear the opinion of others and saw that everyone's ideas were unique and interesting.
Problems I faced: We had a lot of disagreements and one or two fights. However, as we kept working, our coordination improved and we made our skit successful.
How we worked: When we started, we were a bit disorganized and fought a lot. Gradually, we shared ideas and all of us made compromises to create a joint idea.
How it felt: It felt hard at first, to try and understand things that didn't make sense to me. Then, I realized how nice it was to have a team helping me.

It was fun and exciting because I had never acted mime before. Sometimes, we all use to laugh and get off-topic. But, it was all planned perfectly for the final day. My teammates cooperated well.

Mime-
It was a great experience and Our group got along well, It was really fun, I liked all the ideas of my team members, I thought we weren't going to pull it off but we did. I'd say we cooperated quite good.
After 5 -6 Times we I was getting a bit annoyed as we were doing the same thing again & again but after sometime I got used to it.

My experience while working for Republic Day assembly-

During the Republic Day Assembly, we were put into groups and do Mime presentation on the basis of a picture assigned to us. I enjoyed working with my group and everyone shared valuable ideas.

When I was absent one day, my group changed changed the topic of the skit. I was a bit unsure at first but while acting it out, I really liked the new topic. In the new topic, we could really add sound effects, unlike the topic we had chosen before and were able to make the the skit more interesting .

Overall, I really enjoyed worked with my group for the Mime Presentation.

My experience while working for republic day assembly- I enjoyed working in groups. We shared many different ideas and cooperated with each other. Eventually we came with many different ideas, my group members were very cooperative. I had great fun working with my friends.

It was a really nice experience as I got to have a SUPER fun time working on the project and auditioning who could play which part best and we rehearsed and had fun. For the after the final audidtion, we were finaly getting together. We had afew debates and fights and our own points of veiw, but we worked it out.

The experience for the republic day assembly was fun and enthusiastic. It also gave us a chance to cooperate with others. We kept revising the mime act. My favorite part was that we could share each other opinions and ideas for the mime.

During the mime workshop, we had been put into to breakout rooms to create a mime act of our own. We had been given a picture and we had create a plot. All of us had various ideas, but we all heard each other's ideas and thought all of our ideas were very good. Then, since we weren't being able to choose, we all cooperated with each other and took the best parts from everyone's ideas and put it all together. Working in the online platform was a bit hard. Especially, when we had to look at each other. If the person was on my right , I had to look on the left side. In the beginning it was hard for each of , but we managed to do it in the end.

Problem: In our group, while we were recording, one of our team members was not there. One of us had to take up that persons place and it was extremely challenging. Though we all had a lot of disagreements, we worked as a team and somehow managed to do it on the final day.

Besides all of these things, we had learned a lot. We not only learned how to do mime, but we also learned how to work together in a team and not hurt each other's feelings.

It was a very fun experience where we had to collaborate and act out things without props. Every class was based on a different activity based on Mime. I had a lot of fun even if I was not there in one or two classes. The breakout rooms were kind of confusing on what we had to do and collaborate on. But we all learned something new and interesting.

Fun:
We would make personal meetings and practice more sometimes the internet would go low and people's actions would start freezing we would enjoy watching their frozen mime!

Problems:
There were barely any problems but the 1 and only one was that some 1-2 members of the Mime weren't coming every day... It was a bit hard to make them practice their part.

Experience:
Mime is creative, musical, action and art. all of these are my FAVOURITE SUBJECTS... we would make funny noises, Freeze Actions and various games! This was awesome.
