Synopsis: 

In 2021, a 24 years old girl finds her childhood journal from 2009 while shifting from her parents house to her own. She reads it and starts asking questions to her parents and brothers about the particular days that were written in the journal. She becomes paranoid by the fact that all that is written in the journal are happy memories but she doesn't remember them at all. She remembers every day written there differently, she remembers her traumatic experiences from those days only.

Logline:

A 19 years old Bengali girl goes to see a mountain for the first time alone and was mistaken as a Pahari girl by the Bengalis living in the mountain and the nearest town.

Synopsis:

Mitul goes to Bandarban for the first time. She is alone and has a camera with her. After reaching there she buys a thami. When she goes to the Parjatan Hotel, they decline to rent her a room because she is a girl and she is alone. Mitul leaves from there and finds a cheaper hotel rented by a Marma owner. She is scared the whole time. All she ever heard from people is how the Paharis are angry over Bangalis and how much they do not go along and how all they want is revenge. She gets about 4 to 5 calls from her friends, family and acquaintances and is told to come back home as soon as possible. She switches off her phone. After spending a scary sleepless night in a strange room alone she wears the thami she bought and goes out to see the nearest mountain. Mitul has long hair and a fit physique. Every Bangalis there started to assume she is, in fact, a Marma and lives in the mountains. She doesn’t correct anyone. She went to Nilgiri, takes photos with the camera. The tourists start to tease her sexually. She realizes she was misinformed about the treatment of Pahari people from her peer groups. The problem was never their behaviour towards Bangalis, the problem is how we have always treated them. 

Keramaat (35) is in conflict with his desires and in the end, this guides his life towards a different dimension, turning him into a miracle man.

I have been working in the Bangladeshi entertainment industry for about ten years as an independent filmmaker, director, and producer. 

Recently I have produced the short film “Prem Puran/Myth of Love”, which has won awards at various international film festivals. I have also worked with the BBC on the documentary “Indian Frontier Railway: Maitree Express” (2015)” and “Janmashtami” (2016)—a liberation war documentary that won the National Award. I’ve also worked with Ekattor TV, The Daily Star, The Daily Jugantor, Filmshop, and Geonics. 

In addition, I have extensive experience in directing, cinematography, and editing documentaries, online commercials, corporate audiovisuals ranging from local brands to major corporate clients like Robi Axiata, Grameenphone, HSBC, The City Bank, FBCCI, Brac, and Concern.
