Her production methods are minimal yet full and dynamic. She was very experimental in this album, and that added whisper vocal layer added that distinctly unique sound (Venutti, 2023). When listening to her 2017 studio album, “don’t smile at me”, her songs lyrically construct common physical and mental struggles that the pubescent demographic resonates with. He generally revolves around RnB and has implemented a lot of pop elements during his rise to mainstream media. I was initially captivated by his vocal powerhouse and his storytelling lyricism that generally depicts the joy and hardships of love. What piqued my interest was his stage presence, especially in recent years with his collaboration with Anderson Paak to form the band Silk Sonic. His genre-bending mix of 80's pop and jazz was a distinctive aspect in his production, as he was heavily influenced by jazz such as Bill Evans and John Coltrane. I was surprised to find that he produced most of the album himself. His attention to vocal production and  mixing and mastering tools always results in a full and dynamic production that is authentic and true to himself. Ultimately, his influence in the jazz and pop scene influences my production value.

In the “Me and Dad” radio, she speaks about her admiration for Tyler and his humble nature and creativity. She states that the LA artist “inspired every part of everything about me” (Moore, 2020).
