         <description><![CDATA[<div>Why the band structure of vertical transistor can be draw in this way?(the electron travels in z direction. why can we use the band structure calculated from xy plane in vertical situation. we suppose to use the band structure in z direction, but for monolayer material, it is not periodic, which means the band structure cannot be calculated). It is easier to understand the band structure of in-plane transistor. (It is a interesting question from one of my group members and I also courious about it)</div>]]></description>
