2. Yeopjeon is considered to be one of the representative currencies of Korean history, which were widely used during the Joseon Dynasty. It symbolized the way of transactions at that time and contributed greatly to the development of the monetary system.

3. If Yeopjeon was used in modern society, it would have little convenience. Since Yeopjeon is made from materials such as copper, it would require a significant amount for large transactions and weigh a lot. Compared to today's widely used card payment methods, I think there are too many drawbacks.

4. When it comes to the cultural symbolism of Yeopjeon, it is believed to be worth more than just money. The shape and design of Yeopjeon also show a high level of aesthetic sense from the perspective of modern society. Yeopjeon reflects a wide range of cultures during the Joseon Dynasty and remains a symbol of tradition today.

5. The main reason for this suspension may be because of economic development and the subsequent changes in the monetary system. As the economy grew, the use of metal-based currencies such as foliage in large-scale transactions became too heavy and cumbersome. With the introduction of the modern concept of money in the West, the yeopjeon was replaced with paper currency.

6. The difference between Yeopjeon and the West was that the West mainly used gold and silver-based currencies. Paper currency was introduced much earlier in the West. In Korea, however, yeopjeons, which are made of copper or iron, were dominant.
