In other words, listen to the others with respect and open mind, as well as being confident and trust myself all the time. The two key learnings I wrote for Assignment 1 are honesty and competence. It is true that people always want their leaders to be reliable and trustworthy. However, being a good leader does not mean to make all the decisions on their own, is also based on the ideas through inspiring and empowering the team. Therefore, if I am the leader, I will certainly treat people the way I would want to be treated.
   First of all, in order to show my positive side to the others as a leader, I should have strong confidence and believe in myself while dealing with any challenges, such as stress or conflicts. In addition, I will do my best to offer enough resources and support to my team members. Appreciate and praise their contributions to the team, as well as encourage team members to build up creativity for new ideas and opinions.
   Secondly, as I mentioned earlier that I really like the appreciation and participation from my leaders. It is true that it can not be achieved without the inspiration from the leaders. So if I am the leader, I will certainly offer sufficient tools and resources to inspire my team members think wisely and creatively. My current leader Preston, the Front Office Manager at Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort told me in our fireside conversation that seeing team and others succeed is the most rewarding thing as a leader. He really sets an amazing example of how the exemplary leader looks like.
