I strongly agree with a vast majority of the gold coast residents when I say the tram should not be constructed any further to go through to Coolangatta. Local businesses are interrupted by the closed of street, residents are bothered by the noise and many of the gold coast residents are enraged by the waste of government funds going into this expensive project. This very project is causing unfixable amounts of damage to our fragile enviroment. Local cafe owner mark has stated to have lost up too $200 per day in coffee orders, and around $2000 per week that could have been used to pay rent, employees or put into upgrading the business. The surrounding streets being closed and the loss of parking space have reduced customers accessibility.

This tram project should not be continued.
