Theme: Friendships can fall apart, but you can fix them.
 The setting and conflict affect the characters the most. I empathized with my characters when they were solving problems together and just being friends.
 I found it hard to empathize with either of them when they argued.
I think the story would have been extremely different if they had gotten along more of the time.
