         <description><![CDATA[<div>Effective use of literary devices to capture the attention of the reader. Literary devices used are memorable. For example, alliteration in 'Ask for Ansco' (letter A repeated) has a particular memorable quality - meaning that readers interested in photography may remember that line when they want to shop for film. They will be persuaded to buy it because of this memorable quality. <br><br>Additionally - use of adjectives that have a strong positive connotation for photographers - makes it more effective in persuading readers to purchase Ansco. Solidifies the idea that Ansco film is 'glorious', with colours that are 'true' and 'lifelike' and 'realistic'.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Competitive nature of the Photography/Film field</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In order to become truly successful and well-known as a film producer or photographer - one needs to stand out from the rest. It is a very over-saturated field of work. This advertisement works from this assumption to trigger the target readers' desire to be superior to all other photographers or film makers. The phrase 'if you want your movies to be especially realistic' is a prime example of the author tapping into the target readers' inherent desire to be better than their competition. 'Especially' is a relative term - 'especially realistic' compared to other filmmakers, perhaps. </div>]]></description>

As well as this, it is in bold font, further enforcing the imperative tone used in the advert. It helps the ad appear as accessible as it generalises as "you", i.e. anyone who views the ad. It makes the advert appear more personal as it also links to pop culture, the accessibility of the movies, and how cinema can be accessed by most. </div>]]></description>
