Earthquake Escape

One fine day, I and my friends when to the City Park. When we all reached home, we were listening to the radio, when we heard that an enormous Earthquake is going to strike Banglore! We were shocked to hear this bad news, especially because we all lived in Banglore. The news said that the Earthquake is going to strike on 25th February, and there were only 5 days to be prepared! That night, my mom made my favorite dishes, "Spaghetti and some warm Tomato Soup".

I wasn`t hungry, I neither wanted Spaghetti, nor Tomato Soup. The next day, we gathered up under a tree in the City Park, that tree was our usual meeting place. Over there, we were discussing what to do about the Earthquake. In a conclusion, we decided to prepare and face the Earthquake. We told our parents, they were shocked. Our parents helped us pack for the journey, we took: Some canned food, a sleeping bag, a tent, a first aid kit, and we moved to an open space, so trees/buildings don`t tumble over us.

We were almost ready on the 3rd day, we were very tired, for we were packing all day, for almost 3 days in a row, but we were still missing some things. My friend Ruby was wondering if she should take the red sleeping bag or the blue sleeping bag, dad told her to choose fast, so she chose the red one. We were finished packing on the 4th day, yet, we had one day left, and we spent the rest of the time looking for a perfect spot to camp. Thanks to being prepared, we survived the Earthquake! That day we learned that "it`s better to be safe than sorry!

First , take a large bucket or drum, into that pour in 3 cups of water and add in 1 tablespoon of honey and half a cup of sugar. Then, stir the mixture well with a wooden ladle. Next add in 2 ground pepper corns. This will help with indigestion or any intestinal /stomach related problems your pig might have. After this, add in your 5 crushed bay leaves for a bit of aroma. Finally, boil this mixture at 100 degrees C for 15 minutes and set it aside to cool for approximately 10 minutes. This is a delicious slops recipe that can be served with leftover bread or rice or even cake. Furthermore, pigs all around the world love it! Give it a try and you won't be disappointed.

Procedure:

Firstly, take a big bowl and keep it on the gastove. Pour 8 cups of water in the bowl. Let the water boil. Secondly, add 2 carrots and half a cup of soya beans and cook for 3 minutes. Stir in between. After this, add 2 cups of corn and boil for another 2 minutes. Then stir and mix well. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and sugar each. Finally, add half a cup of rice bran and keep stirring for 3 to 5 minutes till it is fully cooked. Wilbur's healthy, delicious rice and corn slops are ready!
