In 1829 and again in 1830 Jackson made clear his constitutional objections and personal antagonism toward the bank. He did not like the bank. The recharter bill easily passed both houses of Congress in 1832. Saying “The bank is trying to kill me, but I will kill it,” He ordered it to not get funds. </div>]]></description>
