I have already gained some experience. We have been to Seville / Spain twice for an internship and in October we will be going to Portugal with a group of 17 apprentices for a 2-week internship.

Our teams are passionate but face typical challenges of knowledge work – long sitting hours, back pain, fatigue and poor balance between mental and physical activity.

We have started small: twice a week we run 30-minute guided movement sessions with the Public Health Bureau – and staff are asking for more.

My vision is to create a regional workplace-wellbeing model: standing desks, daily movement breaks, 45-minute lunch gym sessions and a shared tracking system for steps and calories – so library staff can stay healthy and energetic while creating inspiring experiences for others.

I’m looking for like-minded partners – together we could turn this idea into a movement that inspires healthier, more active workplaces far beyond our region.

Ieva is the contact person for the “Dance Well” project in Lithuania – an initiative that provides access to contemporary dance for people with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders. Hi, I work in a vocational secondary school in Olkusz, near Kraków, and I'm the school's Erasmus+ coordinator. I have had experience in Erasmus+ SE and VET fields for several years, and has just finished our 3rd accredited project. The project's goals meet European values and include, among others, a green approach and sustainability, as well as well-being of students and teachers.

I hope to exchange some experience and good practices with other Erasmus+ people. 

I am Dovile, for the past 12 years I've been working as a developer and headmaster of Forest school in Klaipeda, Lithuania (kindergarten and primary school).

Forest school is all about nature, health, community, openness to innovation and... Erasmus+. I think that so am I, with my "Ikigai" being bringing people back to the nature :).

The school is in Erasmus+ program starting 2018, where I have been coordinating the projects and I am already impatient to share some of the playful and active practices that we have adjusted and applied in our academic life at school after Erasmus+ trainings for teachers.

We will explore the anatomy of the foot, walking habits, and the gait mechanics. Through guided practice, walking will transform from a routine action into a conscious, embodied investigation of movement. Step by step, we will tune into how the body interacts with the ground and how awareness about the gait mechanics can reshape our walking.

– Hands will be free;
– Wear loose, comfortable clothing suitable for movement.
