Who is the Provider Collaborative?

The Provider Collaborative (PC) is in charge of planning and monitoring specialist mental health services for young people, as well as managing the admission and discharge processes for those young people who live in Sussex, Kent and Medway.

Involving people and communities is a legal requirement (Health and Care Act 2022), with many local and national policies and guidance, promoting and requiring Participation, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (Article 12).

The Family Ambassador scheme for the South East region is run by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, working with NHS trusts and providers in Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset. 

What do Family Ambassadors do? 

Family Ambassadors are non-clinical professionals with lived experience of CAMHS services, who can work with you and the clinical teams to help you navigate the inpatient journey.
