There aren't any rules for this area besides the normal street usage. The people walk around and navigate normally if anything is happening; if something crazy is going on, they work around it. It's considerably welcoming in this area as well as diverse in a multitude of cultures.

Those who feel most welcome in this area are those who go to school from ages 13–22, ranging from young teenagers to young adults. However, it's overall welcoming to people of all ages, depending on what they like.

NYPD seems to hold the most authority, seen all around the streets and the busy main intersection. All along with this, you can see different races and age groups interact within restaurants, waiting for public transportation, and so on.

What I know about this space is that it's a college area. I know this because colleges such as City Tech are there, and my personal friends attend this college. However, I'm not as aware of historical landmarks. I know nearby there is a Transit Museum with historical trains ranging from around the 1920s to currently.

This space has always been busy, with schools, occupations, and events nearby. It's considered a well-known location due to its crowded nature of activities. Due to all of the schools, such as City Tech, being nearby, it's a heavily secured area with police officers nearby.

It discourages the public in this area from being disobedient. This area is highly secured from politics, therefore resulting in more positive social interactions within this neighborhood.

For the most part, there isn't any hidden cost; for the most, you would need an ID to get into the college. Otherwise, it's pretty open and able for everyone to move around within the area without having to worry about transportation because there's accessibility for cars, bikes, buses, and trains.

The only social control I'd say there is is NYPD standing outside; besides that, there isn't any. Aside from this, it would be a more positive neighborhood because there's a lot of schools nearby, so the students host events and host events nearby.

The maintenance of the space reflects the group that has entry not so much only to get into school buildings, restaurants, or small businesses within the area.
