Tv shows and the fashion industry promotes slim, thin people. This creates pressure on regular people to stay as thin and fit as possible, never mind staying healthy. <br><br>This pressure can lead to bulimia or other eating disorders if the person has low self-esteem.<br><br></div>]]></description>

Homosexual and bisexual males are at greater risk for developing bulimia than heterosexual males. Bulimia is more common among those who have a close relative with the condition. The percentage risk that is estimated to be due to genetics is between 30% and 80%. Lifetime prevalence for bulimia nervosa is higher in Latino and African-American populations.</div>]]></description>

I knew I had a problem, I just could not admit it. My arms were disgusting. I had no arms. Kesha’s mother Pede Sebert conformed that Kesha was suffering from the eating disorder bulimia nervosa and that she was struggling with it since she was signed at age of 18.          <description><![CDATA[<div> I think bulimia is very dangerous, because when people throw up so often, people are very likely not to get their nourishment and therefore can not live a normal life, they don't have energy for the day. when the patient has throw up for a long time, it will be very easy for them to throw up. if this continues, patients may find it difficult to eat without throwing up.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I didin’t know what bulimia was before me and my group started this. At first I thought that bulimia was like anorexia, but I realized that’s not the same. I was surprised that so many celebrities suffered from it or are still suffering. It’s really bad diagnose which I couldn’t imagine suffering from. There are so many negative effects, the fact that most people suffering from bulimia end up giving their life up is really sad. </div>]]></description>
