Un Alumno Más (Melendi) 2014. Daniel del Río

Un Alumno Más

"Un Alumno Más" is a lively album by Melendi, released in 2014. It mixes different genres such as pop with some rock and rumba, making him stand out in the world of Spanish pop music. Melendi's songs are personal and reflective, often telling interesting stories about his life through his lyrics.

My favorite songs on the album are "La Promesa" and "Tocado y Hundido". I really like "The Promise" because it's fun and catchy, which makes you want to listen to it over and over again. "Tocado y Hundido" is another great song, and for me it's my favorite, because it's the first song I learned all of Melendi's songs, and it has a beautiful melody.

However, not all the songs are so good. For example, "Saraluna" seems a bit repetitive and does not have as interesting lyrics as the other songs. This makes some parts of the album less enjoyable.

In conclusion, "Un Alumno Más" gets a 9 out of 10. Although there are some songs that are not so catchy, the best ones are really good and make you really want to listen to it. I would recommend this album to anyone who likes fun and rhythmic music.

It is an album by the famous trapper and reggaeton singer Anuel AA in which we can find a varied mix of all types of musical styles; like reggaeton, trap, rap, dembow, also happier and more moving songs, but at the same time others that are sadder and sentimental.

One of my favourite songs is BRRR, because the base of the song is spectacular, plus it is a "copy" of Shook Ones Pt. II, one of the most famous songs by Moob Deep, an American rap group from the 90s. Although I also like others like: Borracha y Loca, a mix of latin music, with drums and trumpets, Teteo, the typical music of the Dominican Republic, or Monstruo, which tells the story of how Anuel separated from his ex-wife through a rather sad story.

Something that I don't like so much is that there are 33 songs, which for my taste are too many, although there are some very good ones, and others last 5 minutes, making it more difficult to enjoy it in its entirety.

To sum up, I highly recommend this album, since I enjoyed it a lot with my friends, because the truth is that to be honest, of the 33 songs, 30 are incredible, and there are almost all styles of music so you will like some song.

POR LA BOCA VIVE EL PEZ(Fito y Fitipaldis)2006. Marco Marqués4c

"Por la Boca Vive el Pez", released in 2006, is the most representative album in the discography of Fito y Fitipaldis, a band that has masterfully blended elements of rock, blues and Spanish pop. This album, which contains songs that have been played all over Spain, shows the unmistakable style of Fito Cabrales, the band's leader.

My favourite song on the album is "Me equivocaría otra vez" One of the things I like about it is that I always listened to it when I was a kid on trips with my family. It also has witty lyrics and a catchy melody that sticks with you long after the song is over. Finally Carlos Raya, who is the guitarist of the band accompanies all the songs and makes everything have a better rhythm.

However, despite its strengths, the album is a bit unbalanced, with songs that are not very well worked and with few visuals. Also the venues where they perform are a bit crude and undecorated, nevertheless, a lot of people come to their concerts.

In conclusion, its spectacular mix of rock and blues, combined with Fito's expressive voice, make it music that no one can turn down. Although it may have some minor production flaws, the strong points of the album make you not even notice it. In my opinion one of the best Spanish rock bands. I recommend it to anyone interested in exploring Spanish rock or lovers of heartfelt, well-crafted songs.

“Destrangis” is Estopa's second studio album, released in 2001. “Destrangis” contains a fresh and energetic mix of flamenco, pop and rock rhythms, with witty lyrics that portray everyday life from a humorous and relatable perspective. The album's title, “Destrangis”, is a word invented by the Muñoz brothers that reflects their unique and carefree style.

The album includes memorable hits such as “Vino Tinto”, “Cacho a Cacho”, “La Raja de Tu Falda” and “El Del Medio De Los Chichos”, among others. These songs capture the essence of Estopa's musical style, with catchy lyrics and infectious rhythms that invite you to sing and dance.

“Destrangis” was a huge commercial and critical success, consolidating Estopa as one of the most important bands in Spanish pop. Their unique style and their ability to connect with the public have allowed them to remain relevant over the years and continue to be a reference in the Spanish music scene.

The album titled "Born to Die", is Lana del Rey's most successful album, released in 2012. The style of this album is a mix between alternative pop, baroque pop and indie pop. Specifically, this album is made up of a total of 12 songs. My favorite songs from this album are, "Summertime Sadness" and "Born to die". Personally, I really like "Summertime Sadness", because it is a very sad and depressed song, which is dedicated to the singer's best friend who committed suicide in the summer, and that is where the title of this song comes from. Also, this song was the first one I heard from Lana del Rey, and in a short time it became my favorite song of all time. I also like the song "Born to die", because it has a great melody and the chorus. This song is about her love relationship at that time, which ended up failing. However, the song "Off To The Races" doesn't quite convince me, because there are many changes in the tone of the artist's voice and it gives me a sensation of shaking chills. In conclusion, this album gets a 9.5 out of 10. Although some songs are not my favorites, this album has a lot of potential, and includes many hits from Lana del Rey. And I would recommend this album to everyone who likes this style of music, or if they want to explore new music genres.

‘’Savior’’ is the most recent album of Green Day released in 2024. It has different types of music like Punk Rock, or Indie Rock. The album in many of his songs criticizes so many problems of the american society, like ‘’The american dream is killing me’’ or ‘’Look Ma, No Brains!’’, that send a strong message about how much the society it is getting worse and the the ridiculousness of the situation of how the country of dream is sinking. One of my favorite songs is’’Dilemma’’ which talk about the problem of the vocalist of the band with the drink, have a so catchy beat, and interesting lyric. But for me the worst song of this album is ‘’Bobby sox’’, this song have a boring beat, and boring lyrics which repeat the same words. For me this album is an 8 of 10. I like it, but it have his problems in some songs, and that for me is enough to give that rate.

In conclusion, I recommend it but isn’t my first option.

Dragon is the third album of Lola Indigo and her last published album, its release date is April 14, 2023. In her songs she counts with the collaboration of artists such as: Quevedo, Maria Becerra, Emilia among others.

My favorite song of this album is the one named “Dragon”, it is my favorite song because it talks about the problems that a person suffers when he feels alone and about the feelings that nobody wants to hear.

The music style of this singer is a mix between reggaeton and pop, I like her songs because they are very danceable and catchy. What I like the most about this album is that you can dance easily and at the same time it transmits a message about heartbreak and how to forget it.

I give this album a 10 because it talks about deep feelings that when you are young are difficult to express and knowing that people as famous as singers also suffer them are easier to accept and to be able to tell someone to help you.

In conclusion, I think that this album could help people who are going through a bad time and realize that they are not the only ones who are bad, that the most famous people often suffer our same problems and we are not aware that although they are known in half the world they are not so far from our reality.

DONDE QUIERO ESTAR (Quevedo) 2023. Patricia Mendoza

“Donde quiero estar” is Quevedo 's last album, who eventually gave up on music and focused on his life. Because of it, this album has an important meaning for him, as he explains everything that has happened to him since he was a kid and what are the differences between then and now. The theme represents that he is where he wanted to be in the past and not right now. He mixes different styles of music such as reggaeton, rock, trap and he even adds classical music in one of the songs.

My favorite song of the whole album is called “Donde quiero estar”, same as the theme of the album. This song uses a good base in which he uses to describe how he feels right now about all the fame he has gained in these last years and how his life has changed in a significant way. Addressing that even though he has a lot of money, the important thing is the time and he wishes to have more to enjoy life and be with his family for Las Islas de Gran Canaria, his birth place. Another one I really fancy is “Luces azules”, the rock song of the album. Just the beat is what is one of my favorites, as well, he exposes his relationship with stormy and sudden fame in such an amazing way. But this song is really underestimated and it is one of the best songs of the album. There is also the song “ Me falta algo” in which he uses a soft piano as the beat. This mix is extremely rare in Quevedo’s songs as he usually uses instruments like drums but he never used the piano like this before.

One thing I didn’t like about it is the repetition of the songs: “Vista al mar, Playa del inglés, Sin señal and Punto G”. as he released them during 2022, so I was expecting different and new songs, but the album is still perfect.

In conclusion, if you are a teenager you would love this album because of the main music style, reggaeton and most of its songs are for parties. But if there is something that has captured my attention is the way Quevedo explains his feelings about his fame nowadays and how he has used different styles to address it,

This album is called: "The Gods we can touch" and is by the Norwegian singer Aurora Aksnes, this specific album is one of her newest, being that it was created in 2022, in Aurora it uses the Art POP style mixing various aspects musicals, and to do so he took inspiration from Greek mythology. The album is made up of 8 songs, personally my favorite song on this album is: "Cure for me", I like it because of the melody and what Aurora wants to express with this song, which is: an anthem of self-love and how we are all perfect Regardless of our differences or what society may consider irregular, another song that I also really liked from this album is "Everything Matters", which is about: a narrator while traveling in a car with someone he loves, observes a storm. From afar and contemplates their place in the world, through these experiences, they come to understand that every moment, every experience and every decision is important and can have far-reaching implications for the future, in my opinion it is a very cool album and with beautiful melodies, a 10 out of 10.

Travis Scott's album called "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight," is a journey through the mind of one of hip-hop's most enigmatic figures. Released in 2016, this album confirmed Travis Scott as one of the most important hip hop singer.

The album is characterized by sound diversity that reflects the artist's moods. There are songs with a lot of energy and others that are calmer.

What stands out about this album is its sonic variety. Each track offers a distinct vibe, from the atmospheric sounds of "The Ends" to the bass-heavy energy of "Goosebumps." In songs like "Pick up the phone" and "beibs in the trap" you can find energy, while in "Wonderful" has a more relaxed rhythm.

Lyrically, Scott speaks of fame, forgiveness, and personal struggles. Collaborations with artists like Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd enhance the project, showcasing Scott's ability to collaborate with major artists while maintaining his signature style.

Although the album has moments where the songs can feel disconnected from each other and some lyrical themes are repeated too much, "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight" still manages to maintain the listener's interest and demonstrates Travis Scott's creative vision as an artist.

In conclusion, "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight" is a testament to the artistic vision and creativity of Travis Scott. The album is essential for modern hip-hop fans and a key milestone in Scott's evolution as an artist.

"Highway to Hell" is the name of an album made by AC/DC an iconic Australian band in 1979. The album was a key moment in the band's career and in the rock landscape overall. It has powerful lyrics and rythm, and incredible use of the guitar and the perfect voice of Bon Scott's. This album is pure rock.

Unfortunately, Bon Scott died, being this one his last album and I think he must be proud. He died because of drugs, living his own "Highway to Hell", but leaving an incredible album behind his back.

Only reading the title, "Highway to Hell", we know there is a rebellious and defiant attitude, mostly to religion. Songs like the iconic track, "Shot Down in Flames," and "Touch Too Much" are rock anthems that made generations dance at the rythm of rock and will be forever remebered as fundamental parts of AC/DC's repertoire.

EASY MONEY BABY (Myke Towers) 2020. Julia de Pablo

Easy Money Baby is the name of the debut studio album by Puerto Rican rapper Myke Towers, and it was released on 2020.

The album consists of 14 tracks, in which the artist demonstrates his lyrical versatility and his ability to fuse different musical styles, from trap to reggaeton. Each song features a unique combination of catchy beats, hard-hitting lyrics and Mike Towers' distinctive voice.

Easy Money Baby” includes collaborations with renowned artists such as Farruko, El Alfa, Anuel AA and Bryant Myers, among others.

Some of the songs that are on this album are “Si Se Da”, “Girl”, “Dembowow”, “Dembow” and “Dembow”. Girl” ‘Dembow’ and ‘La Playa’.

My two favorite songs on this album are: “Piensan” and “La playa” because they are the ones I discovered first and I am very happy with them.

because they are the ones I discovered before and of all the ones I have seen from the album, they are the ones I have listened to the most, as they are also super catchy, and the theme in both is very interesting, as in “la playa” it talks about a supposed secret relationship of the artist that no one knows he has. Both songs have been super famous with over 420 million views.

One song that I didn't like very much was “parcerita” because although it is one of the most listened to songs in the album, for me, it is less good than the others.

An interesting curiosity about the album is that the title of the album is inspired by a phrase that Mike Towers himself used to mention in his social networks and interviews and that has become an artist's slogan.

In addition, the album cover features an image of Mike Towers surrounded by money, which reinforces the theme of financial success and ambition that is reflected in many of the album's lyrics.

In conclusion, Mike Towers' album “Easy Money Baby” is a very good choice for people who like reggaeton and upbeat music, as it will make you have a good time with his songs.
