         <description><![CDATA[<div>Students:&nbsp; Students can track their scores and self-assess; for example, "How can I turn these 2's into 3's?&nbsp; What steps do I need to take?"&nbsp; "How exactly do I show transfer?"<br><br>Parents:  Can actually see the progressions of learning; if there is a random "1" or "2", the teacher, parent, and student can take a look at the assignment.  What happened here?  Also, by having the standard on the gradebook, it helps the parents better understand what is expected in reading/math/etc.</div>]]></description>

I would have to do a lot of explaining at conferences!
