Now I think the changes  in place will be help me feel much more comfortable.

Now I think that aligning the standards to the rubric is what is best for students and instruction.

I used to think that the grade book was not for me to use as an evaluative, decision-driving tool. Now I know that it will be. 

I used to think that creating learning progressions would be massively time-consuming. Now I know that there are available resources that I can use as learning progressions (and make necessary changes to adapt to my own teaching).
