It encompasses the use of technologies to predict outcomes of interest to the justice system, like recidivism risk. I am a third-year PhD candidate in the School of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton, researching the use of back support exoskeletons in adult social care within a regional council workforce. These exoskeletons are wearable devices designed to assist humans by reducing physical strain during tasks such as lifting and mobility support. My research examines the barriers and facilitators to their adoption and implementation, using an implementation science-based framework and a mixed-methods approach that includes a survey, and qualitative interviews.
