Kids will probably say that this is fun and awesome.  Quick and fun way to test for student understanding of library lesson objectives.  Similar to old "clickers", but practically free.   One suggestion to make cards durable and long-lasting if you don't have access to a matte lamination is to have students paste the cards to the inside of a notebook (manila folders should work fine).

This is awesome.  It is a large online library for kids 12 and under and has a collection of 25,000 books.  There is a 30-day free membership you can sign up for.  The site says after the free membership runs out, the monthly cost is $4.99--not sure if this is cost per student or per school per month. 
1. Educational videos (alphabet, phonics, word power, etc.)--geared more toward prek and kinder
2. Audio books (well-known titles)
3. Fiction and Nonfiction (lots of awesome nonfiction titles covering a wide range of topics)
4. Read-to-me collection
