The piece definitely had a Victorian era sound, but I noticed that there were parts where it was slower paced (like possibly an orchestra playing at a fancy restaurant) and other parts where it was faster paced (like some kind of action scene in those Victorian movies). I also think the orchestra did a really good job in terms of expanding their sound. - Piano part is similar to the orchestra in terms of energy

- Melody is passed from violin to cello
- Piano echoing the strings in development section (very typical of development section for the melody to get passed around)
- The end is cool

Think: I think it was cool how the violin and cello kind of passed the melody around quite a bit

Wonder: I wonder what Brahm’s intention was when adding the piano to the piece?

Their brains must be moving a mile a minute. The listening to each other was really good, because they were listening to each other and playing the style of what they just heard. 

My only wonder is how many hours it took for them to practice this piece

- They added a little bit of a slide when shifting sometimes - it was slight but had a nice effect
- I liked how the cellist was moving even when he wasn’t playing

- I especially liked the flows of the movement and the part right before the coda because you knew there was something else to come

the song itself is fast-paced and very tense
the middle is calmer but still has a slight foreboding sense
the beginning of the ending has a call and response between the piano and the strings 
there are lots of slowdowns followed by extremely fast and loud sections
Think: i think that the extremely loud parts may have been much louder in person. the alternating between slow and fast was also nice to listen to.
Wonder: how are the strings able to reset their bows so quickly?

They also use brush stroke. The contrasting strokes and articulation give different moods. They also all had a nice ringing tone.

I wonder if that makes it easier to shift into fourth and thumb and use vibrato.

ARTICULATION was really good!
