         <description><![CDATA[<div>You can give group roles to students doing group work in a class to make them feel needed and keep them on task ie a reporter might have to come in and report the groups work to you every 10 minutes<br>In labs you can have laminated instruction sheets stuck down to students desks so that they can start an experiment as soon as they come in to the class<br>Put as many key skills and action verbs as you can into lesson plans<br>Last class on a Thursday and a Friday are tough to teach so be prepared for students to not want to do any work<br>Question walls are very effective for getting students to ask questions which they may not have had time to ask in class<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>DVDs can be effective when teaching a poorly focused class as long as they have a worksheet to use and questions to answer<br>'Solve the problems of tomorrow in the classroom of today'<br>For writing reflections on a class get a refill copy and leave it on your desk during the class and write down if you change your activity during the class and the reaction that occurred because of it<br>Snowball activity- draw digestive system from memory, crumple it up and throw it into a box in the middle of the classroom, pick up a new crumpled paper and fill in the bits that you know, throw it back again</div>]]></description>
