He is excited for his senior year because he doesn't have to do anything besides hanging out with his girl friend sweety and eat pizza. Gordon drives around a 1965 classic car, which was used as his grandfather's campaign car. Gordon's grandfather is arrested and can't run for mayor, so he makes a deal with Gordy that if he runs for mayor he will give him the car. Gordy decides to run for student council along with running for mayor. Gordy's grandfather guides him through the process, and Gordy makes it pretty far in the election. However, it is evident that Gordy does no really want to run for mayor.
