         <description><![CDATA[<div>We filled up four small tubes with 3/4 of glucose, starch, sucrose, and distilled water. Then we filled up the rest of the tubes with water and  one gram of yeast and mixed it all together. We took a larger tube and placed it over the smaller tube and flipped it so the smaller tube is on top.  We put them in a tube rack and placed the rack in an oven for 20 minutes. After the 20 minutes was up, we measured the final gas height of each tube to see if alcoholic fermentation took place. </div>]]></description>
