I randomly came across this Vice article over the past weekend and it reminded me of what we have been focusing on in this class. You will notice while watching the clip how the public schools in Detroit have such little funding and how students are taught in a more banking mode due to resources narrowing the curriculum. Then a Charter school using a more problem-posing education in their aviation school and how those kids are responding to their education full of resources that has been made possible by the NCLB Act. Also, the beginning has similarities to the "No Child Left Behind" spoken word we watched in class.
