He made this a soliloquy because it shows how exactly Banquo is thinking, and no input on what Macbeth could tell him. Shows a lot more emotion on how he really feels about Macbeth.

This is a soliloquy rather than dialogue because he is talking through his thoughts, and almost trash talking his friend.
