Los mapas mentales son un método muy eficaz para extraer y memorizar información. Son una forma lógica y creativa de tomar notas, organizar, asociar y expresar ideas, que consiste en cartografiar sus reflexiones sobre un tema. Coloca la idea central en el centro de la hoja. Recuerda que puedes utilizar palabras o dibujos; si decides esta última opción, te recomendamos acompañarla de una palabra clave.
Ramifica los conceptos importantes que surgen a partir del tema central. Pueden ser tantos como creas necesarios para explicar el tema. Por ejemplo: el tema de este artículo es mapa mental y los subtemas podrían ser: ¿qué es?, características y ¿cómo se hace?
Establece un orden jerárquico de las ideas. Para ello coloca las ideas en el sentido de las manecillas del reloj y de adentro hacia afuera.
Utiliza líneas para unir los conceptos. Establece la relación entre el foco temático y el resto de las ideas desarrolladas.
Destaca las ideas enmarcándolas en alguna figura.
