The event will consist of a ground breaking ceremony by Christine Warren (Honorary president of Carluke Parish Historical Society and Carluke High Mill's community champion) at around 12.15 to 12.30pm, followed by a tour of the plans and activities that will be delivered from the new community facilities as well as viewing some of the items found on the site by volunteer metal detectorists.
 
The professionals assisting our communities in establishing the Carluke High Mill and ONECarluke Community Growing & Learning Garden as an exciting, interactive and accessible community facility will be in attendance to provide answers to any questions our communities may have.
 
Refreshments and a special cake will be provided and attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the site and see how the site has and will develop over the coming years.
