Thank you for being my Spanish teacher for the past 2 years (7th grade and 9th grade). You have helped encourage and broaden my understanding of the Spanish language and culture which has helped me get good grades and be somewhat confident in the language.

Though there were many ups and downs, you were always there for me as a teacher and helped me accomplish a lot of things (for example: tests, retakes, projects). Lo siento for being sometimes annoying when I talk too much during your lectures hehe. I hope you will accomplish many more things while in Spain.

I can't believe you're actually leaving! You have been with me for 4 years, and we have built a very special connection that I will never forget. You are not only my Spanish teacher, but your were the mentor that I have always looked up to. Thank you so much for paying extra attention to me when I'm struggling. Thank you for giving me helpful lectures. Thank you for making me laugh and making me feel loved. And most of all, thank you for always being there for me when I need you. Gracias, I was blessed enough to be in your class since grade 7 when I moved here, your class were always fun even when it got hard and I enjoyed the countless fiestas and projects, and every single class. Muchas gracias for being there for me when the language challenged me most. You helped me realize that I can achieve real results through persistent and incremental growth, a point I wouldn't have gotten to without you! Your uplifting mood carried our class through the entire year all the way up to our exam. My Spanish would not be close to where it is right now without you. I wish that we had more time together, but I'm sure your future students or co-workers will enjoy your company as much as I did this year. I'm so glad I continued Spanish class with you as my teacher. You are such a vibrant being, always energetic each class even when the room is quiet. Even though Spanish is a tough language and I have not yet mastered it (please forgive me for not writing this in Spanish) I think you made the process just a little more durable and fun. It has been a great time getting to know you and being taught by you, and it's very unfortunate we spent half the year without seeing you in person and getting the full experience we could have with you bringing laughter in the class- although you did make us laugh through our screens which is incredible. In the 4 years, you have had me as a teacher, you have not only managed to teach me spanish but also how to be a better person. Your class has always been a class that felt safe and I was able to look forward to. Spanish is a very tough and complex language but having you as my teacher made the last 4 years in Spanish as easy as it could possibly be. I know I only had you for 1 year of IB but I have learned an incredible amount from you even in that short time. I will forever be humbled and honored that I was able to learn from you but also laugh with you from time to time as we share casual conversations outside of class time; I'm quite shy when it comes to talking to teachers but I always felt comfortable sharing my thoughts with you. I've taken Spanish since 6th grade and have genuinely never felt so confident in my improvements and knowledge the way I have this year with you (and I'm sure many of my classmates can attest to this). Thank you for introducing me to not only useful complex sentence structures, but also Octo and how fun Spanish can still be (even when I have to cram for a mock IB exam). Although it's natural to have good and bad days, I remember having the tendency to come to your class constantly excited to just immerse in your enthusiastic spirit.

You are the energizer to my day, and I am so grateful to have you as a teacher. I was very hesitant when first choosing the Spanish course, probably because I was scared (and still am) of how fast they spoke. Then, español became very enjoyable, but I want to dedicate that enjoyment to you.

Your positivity lightens not only me but I believe everyone's gloomy and tiring days. You always have faith in our doings, and was ready to support our Spanish learning journey. Eres mi inspiración. Through the storm of virtual school and the returning to campus, you made sure our ship won't sink. Gracias.
