Microsoft Edge Unique Features: 

Edge is a UWP app. The UWP environment is designed to behave differently. Basically the UWP apps can suspend/resume themselves when minimized or running in background on tablet mode, in the same fashion as iOS and Android apps. Go to task manager, minimize some UWP apps, and you will see a symbol indicating the process is frozen, and CPU usage drops to zero. The Ram is reserved however for instant resume when you maximize app again.

Nitro: Better defined as a safari browser based software used to edit, sign and secure PDF files often used as a replacement for adobe due to it being a cheaper but complete functioning alternative with unlimited electronic signatures and all PDF productivity tools. 

 

Webkit: is defined as a experimental web browser engine used by apple on safari, their app store etc which enables the user to access different content on multiple windows. 

Microsoft Edge is a web browser developed by Microsoft. It was first released for Windows 10 and Xbox One in 2015, then for Android and iOS in 2017. 

Edge includes integration with Cortana and has extensions hosted on the Microsoft Store. 

Originally built with Microsoft's own EdgeHTML and Chakra engines, Edge is currently being rebuilt as a Chromium-based browser (googles open source web browser)
