I thought the shape of the two bugs would go well together. They created a good rhythm. I used water colors for the bugs to make it look more realistic. For the outline of each bug I used a black sharpie to make the bugs look separate and not mixing together. I used colors pencils and a piece of paper to Create this . The background is water with some land on the side , I call them water bugs . My thought about this is unique type of bugs .

An element in my work is line. I had to make a tracer and trace frogs in a tessellation and paint it. I used marker to trace over the water color paint i used when it dried. I wasn't really inspired about this artwork project but i'm happy about how it came out. My goal when i started this project was for it to turn out nice and noticeable and it did, it's one of my favorite artworks. I could've traced the frogs a little better to make it neater and the body of the frogs could've been more frog like. The next one I call peach because the bug looks like a peach. The fourth one I call Mr. Rect because I used a rectangle as a base for the body. I reached my goal on this artwork. What i learned while creating this is to let my mind be free while I draw. I liked the way this art turned out at the end. What inspired me to do the hypnotizing eye in the middle was my love for hypnosis as does the bottom left corner of the paper. On the left side of the eye are donuts. That was inspired by my favorite treat DONUTS!!!!! The rest of the zentangle was just creativity. For example, the bottom left starts off dark and slowly gets lighter and lighter. On the other hand, the top right is in squares, not changing shades. All I used was a simple mechanical pencil and shading techniques. I just drew what felt right, not really following anything but instinct. If I drew it again I'd add more details to everything. For instance, the summer part has rays of light coming down from the sun, as the heat melts the ice cream, it drips down onto the "r" in Summer. I used a mechanical pencil and a few shading techniques. I drew what those because each reminded me of the most memorable objects for each season. If I had to remake it, I'd use color and put more time and detail into it.
