Mrs. Batza, I (and probably most of the class) really enjoyed Core A this year, and mostly because of you. You really made Core fun, and I knew that it would be a good year since the beginning, as I can remember all the way back to the first day that I went into class and sat with Ady and Adrian, and was able to answer some simple questions. You said that we'd "get along quite well this year", and I think we did 😅. I would think that even other kids that don't have you as a Core teacher also believe that you are one of the best Core teachers on campus, because when people ask me who my core teacher is, and I say Mrs. Batza, they tell me that I have a W teacher. And I agree.

I haven't forgotten about that 2032 letter.

Thank you, Mr. Sears, for all 2 years (+1 virtual) of band! I still remember starting in 6th grade, trying to think which instrument I should play. After these years, also participating in the Jazz Band for 2 years, band is a unique experience that those interested in music should definitely check out. These years have been awesome, with concerts and (in Jazz's case) performing field trips, rounding off the middle schoolers' band career with a trip to Disneyland, which I probably will never forget. I've learned a lot about music through your classes and I believe that I will do well in high school band. Both music electives (band and orchestra) are the best elective in my opinion, and everyone should try it out (the incoming 6th grade crowd is pretty huge...), and it's pretty obvious that people want to try it. I'm sure they will all benefit under your music teaching. Thanks again! 🎷

Thank you for the absolute bestest year! When I think of core, the first thing that comes to mind is boring and homework. But in your class, it's the complete opposite. I think I can speak for the entire Core B when I say that you are definitely the best teacher ever. Even though you give A LOT of homework, and I mean A LOT, it's all worthwhile because it's important to know. The best part of your class is the time at the beginning, when we are all talking about our weekend plans and when you are making jokes. Everyone says that Mr. Kontilis isn't a good teacher because he gives too much homework but really, you are the best teacher because you help guide us in the most efficient ways possible while still making it fun for everyone!

Everything about band is awesome (except waking up early for jazz band.) You always let my group have extra time to film, and when we came back to class from filming at 2:40 instead of 2:30, you didn't mind. When I picked up my new computer from the office, you let me take someone with me. You made me want to do video production next year, and that is my plan.
