This is a picture of a teacher because my grandpa use to be teacher and he loved doing this he would talk about it all the time.He was a really genuine person that like helping people out no matter what he was going through even if he was sick or tired or had problems he would help people out whenever they needed.Most of the time when I had problems he would always know something was wrong with me and he would talk to me about,We had a really good bond I would tell him my problems and he understood me.He wouldn't judge me he would actually support me and give me advice on what do and what not to do.So when he passed away it really hurt me because he was a really important person in my life he was the one that was always there for me and making me laugh.One of his last words for me were I love you and don't worry im finally going to rest.Those words really made me be more in pain because even though i knew he was going to rest in peace now it just hurt me that he wasn't going to be there in person for me.

I chose a tree to symbolize my grandfather because he was a very strong person. He never gave up even after his family gave their back on him. He did anything possible to earn money for my mother and her siblings. Not only was he strong but he was family oriented, he really cared about my grandmother and never disrespected her. He also cared for all of his children even when he didn’t have money for new clothes or food. I only meet my grandfather when I was younger because he died when I was about to turn three. I don’t have many vivid memories with him but one I can remember and that my family has told me was he would say my name funny because he didn’t really know how to pronounce it. I would like people to remember my grandfather as a of the kind and hardworking person!! -Naz

I may have never gotten to meet you but i Want everyone to remember you by your sense of humor, how much of a hard working woman/mother you were how much of a fighter you were to help support your kids, your favorite foods and drinks, your food recipes and the advice you gave.
she never stopped fighting for my father, aunties, and uncles she always did her best to feed her children she was always there by their side when one of her kids was sick and when they most needed her in life.
One of the things she liked to make for my Father, Uncles, and aunts was suquini with cream as well as chowmein noodles with vegetables and poached chicken etc.
She gave always gave my Father advice to be a man of good to keep studying and how she always told my father to always do good deeds for others and help those in need in general, when she passed her last few word was how she told my Father and Uncle to take care of the youngest child for her in her absence.

This is to represent my dog lucy she was a brown doberman and she used to have 2 brothers but they were stolen and she was the only one who was not stolen because she was hiding under the staircase since it was broken, so i am blessed that she was not stolen. She was one of the most caring dogs i have ever met she was always there for me when i would come home crying because i was getting bullied and she would always find a way to cheer me up.

i want to dedicate this ofrenda to my friend or i dont even know what are we anymore but anyways this ofrenda is for him because i miss him hes 16 at the moment turning 17 on december hes from ecuador chimborazo i know him for like 1 year this would be the second year im pretty sure but i stopped talking to him when we first met because at that time he started talking to me i was being affected by some type of depression or something at the point of ignoring everyone and not wanting to do stuff i stopped talking to my friends and for that reason i lost many friends but he was one of the 4 people that stayed with me even though i didn't message him for like 7 months or 6 he was still there and when i came back he was happy we started talking again we spent nights talking together but once again we stopped talking and this point he was the one that stopped because of a fight we had and he went back with his ex but at the next week he left his ex again

This kid is special to me because he was such a young boy and I loved making him laugh cause it made me smile to see him happy. I chose to honor this lil boy because he was such a sweetheart. I want people to remember how loving and sweet he was. He always had the biggest smile on his face. Never failed to make him laugh. He also loved to dance. This is a picture of my cousin that passed away at the age of 20. She lived from 8-23-00 through 2-14-21. Her death really hurt her loved ones and others. As some people would say, "she was barely living her own life" or something like that. I chose her because she is the person that was close to me and her death hurt. I had other family members that had passed away but I didn't really know them as much like her death so it didn't really hurt me. It also hurt me because she was my mom's goddaughter. My uncle Rafael lived from 6/26/1965 to 7/02/2013.My uncles full name was Rafael Lopez Zamora.He was my dad's brother and I don't remember much of him because I was 6 years when he died. My grandpa passed away when I was very young. He passed away in 2010. I was only 5 years old when he passed so I was too young to even realize he passed away.My grandpa passed away from prostate cancer. But besides that I always heard my grandpa was a great person. He was a very humble man and that he was healthy.My dad had a very close relationship with his dad. He would always tell me that he was a big fan of the Oakland Athletics and Atlanta Braves. Baseball played a very important role in my brother's life. My grandpa was the one who showed him the game of baseball and he made my brother play for an organized team. The passing of my grandpa changed my dad forever. He didn't go to work for a month and he gained some weight when he was at home. My dad used to smoke cigarettes and he told me when his dad died he stopped smoking cigarettes forever. He hasn't smoked a cigarette in 11 years. But my family always goes to his tombstone to pay their respects. I wish I wasn't so young when my grandpa passed away because I wanted to truly understand what was happening.

My dad was named Thomas his birthday was on May 10th and he was 30 when he passed away and right now he is 41.And he was born in iraputao guanajuato but he was raised in oakland.Also my dad passed away when i was 3 and i dont really remeber thing about him but my family tells me that was a great father and he took good care of us and he was a great person and he had a good personality and if you needed help in something he was there for you.
