When students don’t meet the bar, we take ownership for our part and repair any damage done. I would like to both continue to lean into this and improve. I think I can work on my RJCs to truly know that I have repaired damage with a student before they re-enter the classroom. This means that I might have to get creative with the curriculum in my classroom. I hope to have students moving around more, using different learning style techniques, and using group work more often!

I've had to have some tough conversations with students in Athletics & Activities and although I wish I didn't have to have those conversations, I recognize their impact on everyone involved.
Growth: I've done a poor job including and encouraging staff in our whole school events. Many of our after school events have had one or two staff members present at them, and kids notice. School culture is one of the biggest parts of my job and while I think we've made a little bit of progress, I see we have a long way to go. And that starts with staff presence. A specific example: not one staff member stayed for our Make A Wish movie night. There were over 100 kids there, and a lot of them asked where teachers were.

I think an area of strength is consistency and a united front. I commit to and follow our team decisions even if I disagree with them or have a different opinion.
One place I would like to continue to grow is providing actionable feedback to members of my team. This could look like finding a small piece of breaktime to actively listen and ensure the feedback is provided in a timely manner so it feels applicable.
