I am living out the team commitments by communicating during house meetings, culture meetings, and coaching meetings in order to advocate for students and teachers.

I could do better in living out the team commitments by providing direct feedback to people on the team. There are times when I had opportunities to provide feedback to peers and end up not saying anything to them. I feel comfortable doing it with my co-teacher but get intimidated about talking to anyone else about feedback.

Pat - Especially towards the end of the day after teaching all day there is little energy for resolving difficult situations that arise. By providing myself with more time during lunch/planning to rest and reset for the afternoon I should be better prepared to present 100% to student and peer needs.

- We use data to drive our questioning, problem solving, celebrations, and values. (I think that at the end of the first semester I was getting to where I have been in past years. I would like to continue to improve by celebrating data with students in a more transparent way. I use data to inform my instruction but don't reference with students how those decisions were made as much as I could.)

Asking for help- I would like to improve in being more open for asking for help and bringing others in more. One way I am starting to do this- scoping out ILT and ensuring others are leading in that space in alignment to our strategies

I have been working hard to push each and every student to the best of their abilities. I have also worked hard to model what it looks like when I make a mistake and repair the damage. I have also been working hard to inform my work using the data that students give to me, not just what I THINK that students need.
I think that I need to work on the consistency with the team part of our guiding principals. I don't believe that I assign RFs at the rate that most others do. I don't believe that I assign MTs effectively, STILL! These are things that I will work on in the coming year.

We are showing our belief that all students can achieve great outcomes in the growth in iReady especially with our SWDs.

I think I can work on my RJCs to truly know that I have repaired damage with a student before they re-enter the classroom. I also hope to "employ a variety of techniques and strategies" in order to ensure success. This means that I might have to get creative with the curriculum in my classroom. I hope to have students moving around more, using different learning style techniques, and using group work more often!

I am living out the commitments by picking up trash around the school and encouraging students to do the same. Additionally, when I have seen students picking up trash on their own accord, I use CVMS systems to praise their positive contribution to the school with CV points, shout outs, (and candy).

I would like to recommit to being at afternoon duty on time by leaving 5 min early. I would also like to stay more focused in the workroom by wearing headphones to not distract others.

I can improve by implementing accommodations and providing culturally competent content with more fidelity. Glow: Ultimate owner of classroom -- When students don’t meet the bar, we take ownership for our part. When ANET data comes through, looking at my own practice and lessons for why students learned or did/not learn something. Not attributing success/failure to my students but to my own teaching.

Grow: Using Asset-Based thinking and extending empathy in difficult behavioral moments. An example of this is really pushing into RJC conversations and being curious about a student's life to seek to understand who they are and how they operate.

This is my favorite part of the job, especially when working with students with disabilities (specifically behavioral ones). I believe I utilize relationships to impact student behavior, while supporting gen ed teachers in this too.

One way that I have been living out the team norms is through actively listening when I am given feedback from any team member! This allows me to know where I can improve and move forward successfully.
One thing I want to improve is in remembering to make data-based decisions so I can know where students need to improve and focus instead of assuming that I know exactly where the room for growth is. A specific way that I can do this is through using the IReady data that is collected to inform when I need a reteach and what to focus on.

I provide open and honest feedback when we are asked to provide it. At some points if I see something that can be helpful, I provide it to the group.

I should be providing a space to talk about what may have happened at school or home and giving the opportunity for the student to relax and reset before moving onto the next class or day.

I feel like I am implementing new strategies to celebrate students in my classroom this year, and I am working on bringing joy and fun into class as often as possible. This has allowed me to manage my classroom better than previous years, and students know that I am always looking for the positive behaviors in class.

I would like to improve as an active listener and seek out more conversations with teammates to ensure that everyone feels like their current priority is important and that they are not alone in accomplishing their goals. I will ask one team member a week, "What is your current priority? How can I help you accomplish that goal/task?"

Strength: Having a firm, calm, finesse presence with our kiddos. I've had to have some tough conversations with students in Athletics & Activities and although I wish I didn't have to have those conversations, I recognize their impact on everyone involved.
Growth: I've done a poor job including and encouraging staff in our whole school events. Many of our after school events have had one or two staff members present at them, and kids notice. School culture is one of the biggest parts of my job and while I think we've made a little bit of progress, I see we have a long way to go. And that starts with staff presence. A specific example: not one staff member stayed for our Make A Wish movie night. There were over 100 kids there, and a lot of them asked where teachers were.

I am proud of how I have given clear feedback with solutions in house and coaching, upheld team commitments with culture systems, duties, etc., and, especially with department, sharing ownership in vision and goals. \ am using data to help make decisions about what to teach in my academic lab and what the students need during class time. I am also using these things to problem solve and help give in the moment feedback to students.

I am also implementing accomodations to help students in the classroom and working to make sure that all IEP's have the most accurate and up to date accomodations that fit my students needs.
