Just recently the Dude Perfect guys spent about 3 million dollars building a 36,000 square foot headquarters. This building is the perfect space that has all the facilities that Dude Perfect needs to film videos. The new building is larger than their last with upgraded and expanded sports facilities.

Tyler started filming trick shots that were then posted to YouTube. He got 4 of his best friends to join him who then helped him film, create, and edit the trick shots. Had the group not come together when they did with the physical talents that they all had the channel would not be what it is today.

In 2018 Dude Perfect knew they were more than trick shots, so they innovated and created a new segment. They wanted to keep engagement high and even attract an older generation. So they used their entrepreneur skills to create something new. The videos had almost a game show like feel that was a success with viewers. As the series raked in millions of views after the first couple videos.

In 2024 after raising more than 100 million dollars, Dude Perfect hired its first CEO. They hired Andrew Yaffe who was part of the NBA running digital content. The new CEO was hired to help grow the business beyond YouTube, hoping to spread to TV. This addition will look to expand the Dude Perfect business to even larger than it already is.

Dude Perfect over this period of time had purchased land 2 different times. Each time they have used this mostly flat suburban land to build their new headquarters. Dude Perfect bought an increasingly larger plot of land to build their new headquarters tailored to their exact needs. Many of their trick shots and videos have been filmed on this land, boosting its value and proving its necessity.

After making Trick shot videos for a while, the dudes had an idea for something new. They came up with stereotype’s, the relatable series that created the most infamous character, The Rage Monster. The series was an overall hit putting the guys in everyday situations that their viewers often could relate and connect to. This series diversified Dude Perfects content, engaging even more viewers than they had previously.

In late 2013 Dude perfect launched Merchandise that their fans could then purchase. The merchandise was a new revenue stream that Dude Perfect gained. With the money they previously earned from the channel they used this to create all sorts of products like clothes and games. People then bought these items further spreading the Dude Perfect brand, bringing even more people to watch the videos.
