I think the theme of Fly Free is to pass on love and hope and then good things will happen to you. I think that is the theme because in Fly Free the characters keep saying “Fly Free, Fly Free I the sky so blue. When you do a good deed, it will come back to you." An example is when Thu gave her red velvet slippers to a girl who stepped on a sharp piece of glass and the next day the girl's foot was much better because she wore the slippers Thu gave her .     .When a person got helped they got another good deed back

At the end of the book Mona and her dad have to leave and Mona starts to cry.
