         <description><![CDATA[<div>Abscisic acid has been found to function in the closing of stomata. Closing of the stomata can happen when the plant doesn't require a lot carbon dioxide or during times when the plant can't afford to lose much water through transpiration. ABA also inhibits seed germination and generates seed dormancy.</div>]]></description>
