He confidently identifies and names a wide range of body parts, including his head, shoulders, arms, hands, fingers, tummy, legs, knees, and feet. Zander enjoys participating in songs and games that involve naming and pointing to body parts, often doing so with enthusiasm and accuracy. He demonstrates an excellent understanding of how different parts of his body move and work together, showing awareness of his body in relation to space and others around him. During creative activities such as dancing, stretching, and drawing, Zander uses both sides of his body with coordination and confidence. Well done, Zander!

He enjoys creative tasks such as painting, colouring within the lines, and tracing over shapes and patterns with growing accuracy. He confidently uses scissors, holding them correctly and cutting along straight lines independently under supervision. His pincer grip is strong, allowing him to pick up and manipulate small objects such as beads, buttons, and puzzle pieces with ease. Zander also enjoys threading beads, tearing and pasting paper, and exploring different textures during sensory play with playdough, where he rolls, pinches, flattens, and cuts shapes. He has excellent hand–eye and foot–eye coordination and enjoys ball games such as throwing, catching, kicking, and hitting balls with a bat. He participates eagerly in obstacle courses, climbing, crawling, and moving over and under equipment with confidence and enthusiasm. He loves running games and outdoor play, showing good speed, balance, and control. He also enjoys activities such as jumping, hopping, and dancing, which further develop his coordination and muscle control. Zander’s enthusiasm for movement and his growing physical skills make him an active and capable participant in all gross motor activities.

He is developing strong visual discrimination skills, noticing differences and similarities in patterns and pictures. Zander also enjoys activities that strengthen his visual tracking, such as following moving objects and tracing lines. He is developing a clear understanding of basic mathematical concepts such as big and small, more and less, and long and short.
