Sonny is a unique NS-5 robot created by U.S. Robotics (USR) created specifically by the professor behind to believe specific things and develop his own consciousness. In the story his ability to believe separately from the typical robot at first caused problems and concerns especially towards the suicide/murder of the professor and Detective Spooner's conduct, however later his ability became incredibly useful in fighting the quickly growing nightmare of robots controlling mankind.

A specific robot named Sonny who was specially engineered by the professor to assist him specifically in his suicide joined sides with Detective Spooner and Calvin to thwart the evil within the AI center.

A.I. portrays Artifical Intelligence as a generally hated development in society, with groups such as the Flesh Fair promoting and spreading pride in human life and a human future conflicting with the developments made by Cybertronics. We also see this in how David is treated by the other human boys, which clashes with when he narrowly escaped the Flesh Fair due to his advanced consciousness being very convincing to have the audience protest in letting him go.

In the beginning, they were compliant and used by mankind however as the behavior of the robots changes, they clash with the humans and thus they become highly aggressive and feared of.

Cool Technology within A.I. I spotted include the vehicles seen with bubble like windshield and the ability to submerge themselves in water similar to that of a submarine, the ability to fly much like a helicopter and other advanced features which we could only imagine in today's world. Additionally, the robots themselves are highly advanced and look almost exactly like normal human beings which to us is only a mere dream.

Cool Technology I spotted within I, Robot include many of the vehicles such as Detective Spooner's car which appeared highly futuristic and stylistic, yet seemed to run much like a electric car we'd typically see today. The holograph of the Professor was also a interesting sighting of advanced dream-like technology I spotted, as well as the large cargo bus like vehicles which carried the NS-5s seen during the part where Spooner was driving and in other parts in the story.

The story presents a crisis where humans were getting harmed and overrun by robots for their own "protection". This is a big fear in the world of Artificial Intelligence and I believe that the movie does a great job of showing it in a easy to understand way.

The book itself makes multiple appearances and it's characters such as Pinnochio himself and the Blue Fairy are mentioned frequently by David, as well as its plot where Pinnochio is turned into a real boy by the Blue Fairy.

In Artificial Intelligence, AI robots are highly disliked by the humans of society. An example of this is when the boys confront David at the pool, treating him like he does not belong and harming him. This caused David to react to prevent himself from being damaged and nearly caused Martin to drown as David carried him into the pool without relenting his grip, telling Martin to keep him safe. Additionally, there are Flesh Fairs which promote and celebrate human life by destroying robots which David narrowly escapes from with Joe.

AI robots are not only more feasible for these jobs but more efficient which is why initially they were a beneficial impact for society, with very few seeing negativity in them. I, Robot with its many interesting technologies and the developments of some of the buildings in the vastly populated city of Chicago (such as the spire which is taller than the Willis Tower) underline a more realistic approach to what the future could possibly look like. The cars themselves look futuristic but don't possess any extremities which would break this narrative.

Monica alongside Henry are the 'parents' of David. She, as the role of David's 'mother', eventually due to initial skepticism and fear, activated David after Henry brought him home to her as a gift. Initially they were stoked about the possibility of having a new boy in their family, but when Martin recovered David frustrated and petrified them quickly leading to his eventual abandonment.

He was even labeled as mentally unfit for his job and let go; until the crisis occurred in which he became a hero, which showcases the potential dangers in not giving someone's beliefs a chance.
